Dell launches three ultra-slim Inspiron notebooks in India

Dell has launched three ultra-slim notebooks in the country. The company has launched Inspiron 13 7000 2 in 1 (7373), Inspiron 15 7000 (7570), and Inspiron 13 5000 (5370) in India.
"We've brought in durability and long-lasting strength in an encased anodized aluminum body. The new Inspiron family is every bit striking and versatile, all clubbed into a luxurious lightweight design. We are very excited about making these new machines available in India, and look forward to the interest they will attract from a range of users," said Alen Joe Jose, Product Marketing Director, Consumer & Small Business, DellIndia, in a press statement.

Dell on Thursday launched three ultra-slim notebooks – “Inspiron 13 7000” 2-in-1 (7373), “Inspiron 15 7000” (7570) and “Inspiron 13 5000” (5370).

“Inspiron 13 7000” 2-in-1 (7373) has been launched for Rs 76,290 for core i5 chipset and Rs 96,190 for core i7 processor variant.

“Inspiron 15 7000″ (7570) will be available at Rs 77,190 for core i5 chip and Rs 88,690 for core i7 chipset while Inspiron 13 5000” (5370) will be available at Rs 60,690 for core i5 and Rs 75,790 for core i7 processor variants.

“We have brought in durability and long-lasting strength in encased anodised aluminum body. The new Inspiron family is every bit striking and versatile, all clubbed into a light-weight design,” Alen Joe Jose, Product Marketing Director, Consumer and Small Business, Dell India, said in a statement.

The new Inspiron notebooks sport a thinner and lighter build with integrated high-performance and are dedicated to offering a high quality entertainment to users, the company claimed.

“Inspiron 15 7000” (7570) features a 15-inch thin bezels display encased in brushed aluminum body. It comes with dual drive options with up to 256 GB SSD and up to 1TB HDD and offers up to nine hours of battery life.
The notebook features a 180-degree hinge with which users can lay the screen flat. The notebook also comes with added features like IR camera, USB Type-C 3.1, and a 3-cell, 42Whr battery which the company claims will deliver up to nine hours of usage on a single charge.

“Inspiron 13 7000” 2-in-1 (7373) has a FHD IPS touch display with “SmartByte” streaming technology. The device has Quick-Charge enabled battery that lets users go from zero to ready-to-go in 15 minutes. It also offers improved security with infrared camera and “Windows Hello”.

The device comes with standard SSDs options as well as USB Type-C port and SmartByte streaming technology. Quite interestingly the notebook supports Quick Charge technology and the company has claimed that users can "go from zero to ready to go" in 15 minutes.

Added features included facial recognition through Windows Hello and an infrared camera. Dell is offering 8GB and 16GB RAM options with the notebook and up to 512GB SSD. For graphic duties, the notebook features Intel UHD Graphics 620 with shared graphics RAM.

Dell “Inspiron 13 5000” (5370) offers a 13-inch FHD IPS display with “Smartbyte” and immersive audio technology by MaxxAudio Pro. The device features log-in with fingerprint reader feature and “Windows Hello”.

In addition, the device has options for SSD storage and connectivity options like USB Type-C 3.1 in addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The notebook has an easy log in option with a built-in fingerprint reader and is also equipped with an immersive audio technology by MaxxAudio Pro.

After a two-year absence, Assassin's Creed Origins is the return of Ubisoft's flagship franchise. The game takes place in Ancient Egypt and tells the story of Bayek, a Medjay who is destined to become the first Assassin amidst a time of upheavel in the Egyptian Kingdom. 

Assassin's Creed one of the most anticipated games of the year, will be launched in India on October 26. The game will reportedly arrive for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  e-xpress Interactive, one of the leading distributor for video games, has announced that gamers who want to buy the game or have pre-ordered the game can get their copies in Mumbai. Nokia 7 sells out in minutes in first flash sale after receiving 1.5+ lakh registrations

Nokia back in action and it growing success of the brand backed by licensee HMDGlobal that has just completed the first flash sale in China. Pre-registrations for the Nokia 7 were started in the Chinese market on October 20 more than 125,000 customers reached JD to participate in the first flash sale while Suning received over 30,000 registrations. In a separate Report, NPU adds that sale on Tuesday ended within minutes, with the smartphone going out of stock on both JD.com and Suning.

Jio Phone Explodes While Charging, “Damage Caused Intentionally”, Company Said

A Jio Phone unit has  exploded while charging. A Reliance Retail spokesperson said the company is aware of the incident, and found in its initial investigation that the damage has been caused by intentional sabotage. The Twitter account that first posted the image has deleted the tweet. Jio Phone bookings touched 6 million in its first round of pre-orders.

According to a report by technology blog Phone Radar, the Jio Phone explosion happened in Kashmir. The now-deleted image on Twitter shows the back panel of the phone has been melted but the battery underneath the casing seems to be intact. The front panel also doesn’t have any bearings of an explosion.

A Reliance Retail spokesperson said, “Jio Phones are designed and manufactured with global standards, and each phone goes through stringent quality control process. and incident has been reported to us. Our initial investigation suggests that this is a case of intentional sabotage. The damage to the device seems to have been intentionally caused. The incident, as well as its timing, has been designed by vested interests to malign the brand. We will take appropriate action based on further investigations.”
